We are currently partnering with a Global VC backed stable coin and crypto smart wallet provider in the build-out of their Paris office. France will serve as the headquarters for our client’s expansion across the Eurozone.
As part of this build-out campaign, we are pleased to support this client with the recruitment of their Head of Sales and Commercial Director
Our client are at the early stages of the licensing process with regulators so the initial phase of employment will be strategy and planning focussed pending developments.
Once licensing is completed then the core mission is to help lead the commercial efforts across the Eurozone, securing fintech and asset manager clients, ahead of the official business launch which is targeted for Q2 – Q3 2026.
The successful candidate is expected to maintain an on-the-ground presence in the EU, responsible for building the pipeline and relationships that will drive adoption from day one.
Short-mid term focus will include :
- Helping the business work towards its mid-term commercial target of €100m in stablecoin volume within two years of launch
- Building a pipeline of committed launch partners across fintechs, asset managers, and payment providers
- Establish the company’s credibility and visibility in the European digital assets ecosystem
Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and close commercial deals with fintechs, neobanks, payment, providers, exchanges, and asset managers across Europe
- Develop strategic partnerships with custodians, OTC desks, and crypto infrastructure providers
- Represent the company with regulators and at industry events
- Feed market intelligence back to the team on competitive dynamics, client needs, and partnership opportunities
- Note: this would be an Individual Contributor position for the time being with the potential to hire a sales team as the business grows
Skills Required
- Strong track record in B2B sales or business development within payments, fintech
- A network across the European financial services and crypto ecosystem
- Familiarity with stablecoins, crypto infrastructure, or treasury/FX products
- Entrepreneurial and self-directed, comfortable operating independently pre-launch with minimal structure
- Willing to travel at moment’s notice
- Fluent in French and English; additional European languages a plus
- Prior experience at a stablecoin issuer, crypto exchange, or e-money institution is an advantage
- Relationships with asset managers or corporate treasury teams is an advantage
