French Our client are a major European Financial Services group represented throughout the insurance and financial planning industries. Their Belgian business has long-standing expertise and market share within Life Assurance and Retirement plans.
In line with departmental growth, they are now looking to recruit for 2 operational risk officers to support their Head of Operational Risk and Risk Directorate.
These role will have an evolving focus across operational risk framework management (in line with group policy and Solvency II requirements), risk mapping, risk reporting (ORSA), controls implementation, business continuity management and cyber-security.
Our client are willing to look at candidates from an operational risk frameworks or internal control background. The roles could provide the successful candidates with excellent opportunities to learn and develop new technical skills.
As there are 2 hires they may also consider 1 more experienced professional and 1 more junior profile.
Skills Required:
- A Master degree or equivalent through experience.
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written), and preferably knowledge of French or Dutch.
- Prior work experience in a control environment or similar (Risk Management, Audit, Compliance), preferably in the Financial Service Industry, is a strong asset.
- Communication skills: producing written reports and establishing clear and concise communication with work colleagues and other departments.
