We are currently recruiting for a talented Internal Auditor to join a leading Investment Banking and Financial Markets group.
Our client are expanding their presence in Paris and aims to grow its European audit team over the next 12 months.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of functions audits across Paris and the European Union (Amsterdam, Madrid, Milan, Netherlands, Prague). The focus will be on regulatory compliance (MiFID, MAR frameworks, AML, CFT, Sanctions), risk management and prudential capital.
Responsibilities will include :
➤ Plan and scope audits using risk and control assessments and testing.
➤ Identify opportunities for more effective audits through data analysis.
➤ Perform fieldwork, testing key controls for design and operational effectiveness.
➤ Communicate findings and recommendations to the European Head of Audit.
➤ Prepare high-quality work papers to support the regional audit report.
➤ Conduct testing on issues that the business has marked as remediated.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
➤ Recognized qualification in accounting or auditing.
➤ At least 4 years of internal audit or inspection experience within the banking, capital markets, or consulting sectors.
➤ Experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Excel is a plus.
➤ Strong presentation skills.
➤ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
