Our client are a leading broker to the physical and financial crude oil markets as well as middle distillates, naptha and financial swaps for fuel oil, LPG, Naptha and Gasoline.
In line with commercial expansion, they are now looking to hire a Compliance Manager to join their 80 strong Singapore team. This role will work closely with the Head of Compliance, whilst liaising closely with APAC counterparts.

Key responsibilities
➤ Help to draft and implement markets focussed compliance policies and procedures
➤ Providing Compliance Policy Training for Singapore employees across ICE and CME exchange rules
➤ Reviewing licence applications for the Singapore entity
➤ Conducting regulatory investigations when needed
➤ On-going and regular contact with regional regulators
Skills required
➤ 5 years + regulatory compliance experience within energy markets (especially crude oil trading and supply). Our client would also consider the wider commodities industry – agriculture, metals
➤ Exposure to physical and financial (OTC trading) for energy, agri or metal futures
➤ Strong awareness of ICE and CME exchange rules is essential
➤ Compliance and/ or legal certification is advantageous
➤ Fluency in English – additional languages are welcome
