A more junior risk opportunity working within a diversified commodity trading group. Paris serves as the headquarters of the EU franchise and has strong plans for growth throughout 2025 – 2026.
You will work on a small trading floor, supporting trading and sales staff across grains, sugar, coffee and ethanol products. The focus will principally be on operating risks (financial and physical trading).
Les responsabilités incluront :
- Working with trading and sales teams on the launch of new products
- Providing operational and regulatory risk advice to the desks
- Ensuring that trade support processes- booking, hedging, pricing, market notifications conform with the group risk framework
- Working with regulatory compliance, counterparty risk and market risk on staff training initiatives
- Occasional interaction with financial and industry regulators, alongside the Head of Risk
Compétences requises
- 3 years approx experience within a commodity trading or supply chain group is preferred (ideally agricultural products though not essential). Our client can consider risk professionals from a related sector with a strong interest in the commodities industry.
- Knowledge of financial market regulations specific to commodities futures trading is an advantage – MiFID 2, MAR, BMR
